Both freelance, and under his current employment at Puppet Productions he takes on many duties. He has developed, authored and published evangelistic curriculum and "edutainment" puppet shows, creative ministry manuals, and drama scripts. Darren has worked in churches in over 40 USA States. He has taught over 20,000 people --skills such as puppetry, juggling, object lessons, illusions, balloon sculpture and teen discipleship.

Even more notably Darren has been sponsored to teach and perform in Singapore, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Cambodia, Thailand, Mexico, and Dominican Republic.  Jungle huts, arenas, mountaintops, and city parks... Darren has plenty of experience!

Personal Bio:
     Darren grew up in Washington State in a Christian home and has been very privileged to be surrounded by mature Christians all his life.    Although he accepted Christ when he was a young , it was Jr. High when Darren became committed to serving Christ as a lifestyle.

     In High School he eagerly began summer missions trips and various local church duties.  He was practicing juggling and doing a lot of puppetry at church and various community education programs.  During this time he left home to study at a secular comedy school on the east coast.  He spent a summer learning from professional vaudeville and variety TV performers.  After that summer Darren pursued performing wherever he could, often getting the chance to share his faith simultaneously.  

     Darren was hired immediately after High School to perform and train church workers on a nationwide creative ministry tour for one year.    After that year was over, his contract was indefinitely extended and he subsequently moved to Texas, alone.

     Now, 6 years after his original contract Darren has shared the love of Christ with thousands of people all over the world.   His duties have expanded in many directions, and opportunities to perform and travel have grown exponentially.  He travels overseas to work along side missionaries from various sending organizations at least twice a year.

     Darren continues to attend professional performers workshops and schools and has the unique privilege to work with many Christian variety entertainers in the Dallas area.  While travelling to well over 400 churches worldwide, Darren is continually reminded that he has been called to share about God's wonderful grace to Christians and non-Christians alike.  (Both to educate and to inspire them, and to remind them about the joy that is: serving Christ.)

     When he isn't travelling, Darren is a regular Sunday school teacher, youth group volunteer, and home Bible study leader at Park Meadows Baptist Church in Waxahachie, Texas,
